During my boring business lectures at the University of Bath, there was one annoying guy who always had his hand up, asking a question or noisily sharing his opinions. He’d also usually be reeking of alcohol from the night before, having written himself off at the uni bar. That was Ben, and one day at uni, he somehow was sober enough to woo Katie, and has been with her ever since!
I’ve been good friends with Ben and Katie ever since graduating. Every return to the UK for me includes one enormous night out with Ben and my other two good mates Rich and Tristan. We name the night ‘Angry Birds’ as it inevitably leads to our respective ‘birds’ being angry at us the following day for our previous night’s antics…
This summer Ben and Katie very kindly let Elissa, her mum and dad, Harry and I stay at their lovely home in London, during our tour of Europe. It was great to spend time with them all, and as a small thank you, I took them out to do a quick portrait session at a nearby park one afternoon.
I think I appreciate the photos as much as they do – it’s a special feeling being able to capture some nice photos of good friends.
I live and work for half the year in my hometown as a Nottingham wedding photographer. If you’d like some candid, natural photos of your family, click the Contact link in the menu above to enquire today.
