Lisa & Eugene
I have to admit, when I heard that I’d be covering my first Chinese tea ceremony, I had an image in my mind of a very formal, silent affair. How wrong I could be! Lisa and Eugene’s tea ceremony was a completely relaxed affair, with Lisa cracking jokes under her breath for the entire duration as her and fiancé Eugene received the red envelopes – their ‘swag’ as Eugene put it…
This set a light-hearted tone for the rest of the day, with a relaxed wedding ceremony in the beautiful Rose Gardens of the Royal Botanic Gardens in the heart of Sydney city. With the formalities out the way, I took the bridal party for a quick stroll around a corner of the Gardens. There are loads of amazing spots for photos, including a glass pyramid and some futuristic looking curved solar panels, which normally house Sydney Tropical Centre.
Speaking of pyramids, I ended the bridal photos as I normally do by asking “is there any other photo you’d like me to take?” And the response? Well, you’ll have to check out the photos below…
Congratulations Lisa & Eugene!
