It’s always a great pleasure and honour to cover a friend’s wedding. Covering Krystyna and Hooman’s wedding was something I had to do.
I’d been there when Krystyna was single, when she was looking for Mr Right, and when she had finally found him… and witnessed how incredibly happy this had made her. Seeing her beaming on her wedding day was a beautiful thing, and I felt so privileged to be the one to capture it.
Being German, Krystyna’s efficiency and organisation know no bounds. Not only was I sent a detailed run sheet which included every word of the celebrant’s speech and minute-by-minute scheduling, I was also treated to a video of the entire first dance via text message! However, despite all the planning, there was nothing that could prepare us for the beauty of the day ahead.
Incidentally, Hooman is responsible for making sure I can continue shooting weddings well into my 40’s. He’s a magician of a chiropractor, and an awesome bloke to boot. If you want to improve your posture, I suggest you go see him!
Congratulations to my friends Krystyna & Hooman, and thank you for introducing me to One Tree Hill in Maleny, Queensland – one of the most picturesque wedding photography locations I’ve seen.
