I decided to name this post Sydney City Wedding, since during the wedding day of Cassandra & Richard, I felt like we covered most of the Sydney CBD.

Cassandra had decided to shun all wedding day traditions and spend the afternoon before her ceremony with her groom, strutting through the Strand arcade, drinking at Kitty Hawk, roaming the city’s alleyways, promenading through the Botanic Gardens, then finally dancing the night away at the Sydney Dance Lounge…all dressed in an amazing gold sequinned dress.

As a result, we captured a lot of creative and candid photos of their time together on their wedding day.

This is great reminder that your wedding day and my coverage is for you to tailor as you wish. Wedding photography needn’t mean the traditions that you’re used to – it’s your day, so bend the rules a little!

If you want a wedding photographer who’s eager to step outside the box to get some original photos on your big day, get in touch with me here.

      Congratulations to Cassandra & Richard!
